Edinburgh Fringe Previews 2019 - Line Up Announced

Fancy a taste of the Edinburgh Fringe festival in central London? The Other Palace is thrilled to present six shows previewing their material before heading up to Scotland.

 

Mon 8 July, 7pm

Fisherman’s Tail

A new musical for all ages about four humble fishermen whose everyday lives are blown out of the water when they are caught up in the whirlwind of Jesus’s life and miracles.

Tue 9 July, 7pm

Vikki Stone: Song Bird

Multi award-winning comedian and musician Vikki Stone returns to the Edinburgh Festival this year with a new show of her trademark comedy songs and stand up.

Wed 10 July, 7pm

Stiff & Kitsch: Bricking It

Musical Comedy Award winners 2018 sing about everything keeping them awake at night: tax, wooden cutlery and the consequences of last night’s eight double G&Ts. Each.

Thu 11 July, 7pm

Murder Ballads

Millhaven, West Texas, Winter 1882. The regulars of O’Malley’s Bar take you through a raucous evening of murder, madness and darkly comic tales. This new musical by Gerry Smyth is an original stage adaptation of the album of the same name recorded and released by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.

Sidekick

The final year of university is crucial for Tom to become a superhero. Lily arrives with powers stronger than anyone else. Little does Tom know that Lily isn’t there to study, only to hunt a shadow from her past.

Sat 13 July, 7pm

piano_play

Bach+Beethoven+Britney=Tom: a young man whose piano lessons give him a unique vocabulary. It’s a new one man play by Calum Finlay about grief, obsession and music. With a piano. And it’s all _underscored_live.
