There are a wide range of exciting roles within our Theatres, including front of house, back stage/technical, bars, box office and management.

Rolling recruitment takes place for Front of House – Ushers, Bars and Technical Stage Crew and this is handled directly by each Theatre. Chief Electrician - Her Majesty's Theatre

We have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Electrician to join Her Majesty’s Theatre, home to the timeless classic The Phantom of the Opera.

The Chief Electrician is responsible for the provision of electrical services to all stage performances, concerts and related activities within agreed schedules and budgets. They will ensure the Electrical Department is run safely and smoothly to the highest standards by utilising and developing resources and equipment and therefore providing an excellent service to Producers, Promoters and the Company. They will also be required to ensure the electrical infrastructure within the Theatre is maintained.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and the ability to lead and develop a team. They will also have NVQ Level 2/3 e.g. City & Guilds 1810/2330 or equivalent.

Casual Front of House and Bar Staff - The London Palladium

We are seeking casual members of staff to join the bar and Front of House team at The London Palladium.

The theatre is hosting a busy timetable of high-profile concerts and variety acts throughout 2018 including Morrissey, Gary Barlow, Harry Connick Jr., Grayson Perry, Ross Noble, the multi-award winning and critically acclaimed Lincoln Center Theater’s production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King And I and our Christmas pantomime, Snow White.

We are looking for staff who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and who are able to provide world class customer service to the wide variety of audiences visiting The London Palladium this year.

Experience working on a bar would be advantageous as well as a willingness to get involved with all aspects of the operation.

Box Office Assistant (FTC) - The London Palladium

LW Theatres Group Ltd are seeking to appoint a Box Office Assistant to work at The London Palladium during the run of Snow White, from the same team behind last year’s Olivier Award-winning pantomime.

The six-week contract will run from the 3rd December through to the 13th January 2019. Candidates will need to be available throughout the run of the show (especially over Christmas and New Year).

The standard working week would be 40 hours across 4 days out of 6, plus some additional Sunday’s throughout the run.

Experience of Trade, using SRO and/or working in a Box Office is essential.

HEAD OFFICE VACANCIES

The head office team is based at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and provide dedicated support to all our Theatres. Roles at head office may include IT, Finance, Programming, HR, Operations, Works and Hospitality.

Head of Ticketing Services

We are seeking to appoint an experienced ticketing professional to lead the Ticketing Services team.

The Ticketing Services team are responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the ticketing operation; including the set-up, management and maintenance of events and offers on the ticketing system.

The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of theatre ticketing, along with experience managing and motivating a team and liaising with external ticketing partners.

HR Advisor (Maternity Cover)

We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join LW Theatres on a fixed term contract, covering a period of maternity leave.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will work closely with the collaborative HR team and provide outstanding support for a diverse client group in a full generalist role with a particular focus on recruitment.

You will be involved in all areas of HR including recruitment, employee relations, L&D, reward, MI and HR projects.  This is a great opportunity for someone who is ambitious and looking to gain exposure to help you progress and be ready for the next step in your career.

The successful candidate will have experience in a generalist role and of managing the entire recruitment process.  They will also be confident coaching and advising managers on proactively handling a range of ER matters.

Data Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to join our Head Office team.

The Data Engineer will support our internal Ticketing and Marketing departments in building a new data warehouse and will work closely with a small team to develop a data asset that will provide a platform to develop our insight capability. This will enable us to support and enable the development of growth initiatives and new revenue streams across both LW theatres and our sister company, Really Useful Group.

The Data Engineer may also be asked to participate in other projects to improve data flows and interfaces between systems within the organisation.

The successful candidate will have strong core Microsoft SQL server tech stack skills, C# Programming and SOAP API’s experience. A demonstrable knowledge of computer security concepts and practical experience applying them to real world problems as well as strong communication skills are also required.

Approved Electrician

We are seeking an Electrician to work within a small maintenance department covering the maintenance and refurbishment of electrical installations throughout the Group’s premises.

The successful applicant will hold a minimum qualification: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical installation work: City and Guilds 2391. Must have relevant contracting industry experience and be JIB Electrician standard.

Relevant experience working in Historic / Public Buildings would be considered an advantage.
