THEATRE VACANCIES

There are a wide range of exciting roles within our Theatres, including front of house, back stage/technical, bars, box office and management.

Rolling recruitment takes place for Front of House – Ushers, Bars and Technical Stage Crew and this is handled directly by each Theatre. Deputy Technical Manager - The Other Palace

The Other Palace is looking for an experienced, responsible and proactive individual to join our multi-disciplined technical team.

The successful applicant will have training in Theatre Lighting and experience of Live Sound Engineering, with an excellent knowledge of up to date technologies and practices.

They will be expected to work primarily evenings and weekends.

Stock Supervisor - Gillian Lynne Theatre

We are seeking to appoint a Stock Supervisor to work at the Gillian Lynne Theatre, formerly known as the New London Theatre before it was renamed after the legendary West End choreographer, currently home to the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical School of Rock.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and excellent attention to detail. They must also be flexible with and available to work anti-social hours (evenings and weekends) as the business needs.

Assistant Manager - Adelphi Theatre

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Theatre Manager to work at the Adelphi Theatre, home to the Olivier Award winning hit musical, Kinky Boots.

The Assistant Manager will support the Deputy Theatre Manager and Theatre Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the theatre operational systems and administrative processes.

The successful candidates will have strong leadership, organisational and commercial skills together with proven experience of successfully leading a front of house team.

Inventory and Sales Manager - The Other Palace (Part Time)

We are seeking to appoint an Inventory and Sales Manager based at The Other Palace. This is a part-time position consisting of 26 hours per week over 3 days (two 10 hour shifts and one 6 hour shift).

Reporting to the Group Box Office Manager, the Inventory and Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the ticketing inventory for all events at The Other Palace. This will involve working closely with Ticketing Services, Venue Management and all venue staff to ensure ticket sales are maximised and high standards are maintained.

The successful candidate will have extensive Box Office experience and an in-depth knowledge of ticketing systems and procedures.

Casual Front of House and Bar Staff - The London Palladium

We are seeking casual members of staff to join the bar and Front of House team at The London Palladium.

The theatre is hosting a busy timetable of high-profile concerts and variety acts throughout 2018 including Morrissey, Gary Barlow, Harry Connick Jr., Grayson Perry, Ross Noble, the multi-award winning and critically acclaimed Lincoln Center Theater’s production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King And I and our Christmas pantomime, Snow White.

We are looking for staff who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and who are able to provide world class customer service to the wide variety of audiences visiting The London Palladium this year.

Experience working on a bar would be advantageous as well as a willingness to get involved with all aspects of the operation.

Front of House Staff - Theatre Royal Drury Lane

HEAD OFFICE VACANCIES

The head office team is based at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and provide dedicated support to all our Theatres. Roles at head office may include IT, Finance, Programming, HR, Operations, Works and Hospitality.

Data Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to join our Head Office team.

The Data Engineer will support our internal Ticketing and Marketing departments in building a new data warehouse and will work closely with a small team to develop a data asset that will provide a platform to develop our insight capability. This will enable us to support and enable the development of growth initiatives and new revenue streams across both LW theatres and our sister company, Really Useful Group.

The Data Engineer may also be asked to participate in other projects to improve data flows and interfaces between systems within the organisation.

The successful candidate will have strong core Microsoft SQL server tech stack skills, C# Programming and SOAP API’s experience. A demonstrable knowledge of computer security concepts and practical experience applying them to real world problems as well as strong communication skills are also required.
