Who We Are
At LW Theatres, we realise what sets us apart is that we stage the extraordinary. We recognise that our people are central to our vision of being the most successful theatre group in the world.
From the Usher to the Follow Spot Operator, the Stage Door Keeper to the Stage Chargehand, the Box Office Assistant to the Finance Manager, all our people help to create a platform for brilliance to shine through in everything we do, across every single department.
However, we know that our audiences have a choice and we never forget that. To make sure our guests leave feeling elated, inspired and eager for more we recruit people to work for us who want to break new ground, have incredibly high standards, are confident experts in their respective fields and are passionate about theatre.
We look for people who reflect our theatres in individuality but are willing to work collaboratively to keep our audiences, (including our partners, producers and sponsors) centre stage.
At LW Theatres, we believe in and work towards the following six values:
1. Act as one team
We are a talented family of professionals. Everyone is valued. Everyone plays an important role. We treat each other with respect, fairness and kindness. We trust each other when the spotlight is on us and share our success. Together we achieve the extraordinary.
2. Being a family of individuals
Each of our theatres has its own unique character and personality. But we all share the same vision and purpose. That means building lasting and collaborative relationships and never becoming complacent.
3. Keeping our customers centre stage
Ultimately it’s our audiences, partners, producers and sponsors that keep theatre alive. So we take great pride in putting them at the heart of everything we do.
4. Incredibly high standards
We know the nature of live theatre means not everything can fall flawlessly into place all the time, but we do our very best to make sure our customers’ experiences are as perfect as possible. This is why we focus on the detail.
5. Custodians of something uniquely special
We celebrate our theatres’ history and take great care to ensure its continued relevance for audiences today, and for generations to come.
6. Breaking new ground
We stay one step ahead by embracing new ideas. We stay fresh and relevant, using data and insight to guide our decisions.
