Following the resounding success of their 2024 UK tour, which included a sold-out performance at London’s prestigious Cadogan Hall, The Van Morrison Alumni Band is set to celebrate Sir Van Morrison’s extraordinary songwriting legacy, with a special concert at London’s Adelphi Theatre.

The event coincides with the year of Sir Van’s 80^th birthday, and will honour one of the most influential and iconic musicians and songwriters of the 20th century.

Curated and hosted by renowned saxophonist, broadcaster, and long-time collaborator Leo Green, the evening promises to be a masterclass in musical excellence. Green, who has performed on seven of Van Morrison’s albums and toured with him around the globe, brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the music that will resonate with both lifelong fans and new listeners alike.

The project carries Sir Van Morrison’s personal endorsement, underscoring its authenticity and significance. Reflecting on this project, Sir Van shared: “These songs are meant to be sung and heard, and I am really happy that Leo is carrying the torch.”
