Matilda The Musical is the multi-award winning musical from the Royal Shakespeare Company, inspired by the beloved book by the incomparable Roald Dahl.

With book by Dennis Kelly and original songs by Tim Minchin, Matilda The Musical is the story of an extraordinary little girl who, armed with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind, dares to take a stand and change her own destiny.

Matilda has been seen by more than 10 million people across more than 90 cities worldwide, including over 4 million in London’s West End where it has been delighting audiences for over a decade.

RUNNING TIME: 2 hours, 35 minutes (including 20 min interval)

AGE RECOMMENDATION: This production is not suitable for children under 6 years of age,. Children under 4 years of age (including babes in arms) will not be admitted into the auditorium. Children need to occupy their own seats at all times throughout the performance. To help us make sure everyone enjoys the show, your little ones need to be able to sit in their own seat without any assistance.  Younger children are welcome at our relaxed performances.

CONTENT WARNINGS: Matilda The Musical features flashing lights, lasers and loud sound effects. Latex balloons are popped onstage and stage haze (smoke) is used. Throughout the performance actors interact in audience spaces.
