LW Theatres
Part of the Icons Orchestral Series.
For the first time in its illustrious 114 year history, the historic London Palladium will host a monthly orchestral residency beginning in February 2024, which will see iconic artists’ music celebrated.
The fourth show will celebrate the music of Phil Collins. Performed by The Leo Green Orchestra, the most explosive orchestra in the UK along with their incredible singers, the show will be hosted by Cerys Matthews.
This special concert will celebrate the musical legacy of an artist who first appeared on a West End stage back in 1964, aged just 13. The child actor, having made a name for himself playing the part of the Artful Dodger in Oliver Twist, would go on to become one of the most successful singer songwriters the UK has ever produced, selling more than 150 million records in the process.
The Leo Green Orchestra & Singers will return to The London Palladium to deliver an incredible show that features some of the most loved floor fillers of all time, such as Easy Lover and Two Hearts, plus some of the most iconic ballads of all time, from Against All Odds to In The Air Tonight.
Come and hear hits from the Phil Collins solo catalogue: Another Day In Paradise, Easy Lover, Two Hearts, I Wish It Would Rain Down, Against All Odds, Something Happened On The Way To Heaven, Separate Lives, One More Night, Sussudio, In the Air Tonight.
You will also hear the hits Phil enjoyed that were written by other writers, including True Colours, You Can’t Hurry Love, A Groovy Kind Of Love.
Plus, there’ll also be some of the songs that Phil sang with Genesis, including Follow You Follow Me, Invisible Touch, I Can’t Dance, Jesus He Knows Me, No son Of Mine and In Too Deep.
“Music has a healing power. It has the ability to take people out of themselves for a few hours.” – Phil Collins
