For one night only (yes, Dreamgirls were in the line-up), performers from the nation’s best-loved shows gathered to celebrate musical theatre at the Big Night of Musicals.

Hosted by Jason Manford at Manchester’s AO arena, musical theatre fans of all ages were entertained by showstopping performances from the likes of Dear Evan Hanson, Wiz, The Drifter’s Girl, & Juliet, Jim Steinman’s Bat Out Of Hell and Tina: The Musical.

A Big Night for LW

Taking a break from its residency at the Adelphi Theatre, the cast of Back To The Future: The Musical put on a foot-stomping performance of Gotta Start Somewhere.

FROZEN The Musical brought the magic from their home at Theatre Royal Drury Lane by opening the epic Disney medley with an emotional rendition of I Can’t Lose You. 

After announcing its summer season at The London Palladium, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast enchanted the audience with the classic Tale As Old As Time performed by Courtney Stapleton (Belle) and Shaq Taylor (Beast).

Then with a crossover to end all crossovers, both casts were joined by The Lion King to sing a final rendition of Let It Go with Manchester’s AO arena dazzling with falling snow.
