Laura Pitt-Pulford, Tom Edden and Debbie Chazen lead cast of 'AMDRAM: A Musical Comedy'
Posted 20th December 2018
On Sunday 3rd February 2019, writing team Alex Parker (music) and Katie Lam (book and lyrics) will bring a semi-staged concert version of their musical ‘AMDRAM’ to The Other Palace for two performances only.
Between baby yoga, the PTA and the local Scouts, Great Osterley North Amateur Dramatic Society – or GONADS, as chairwoman Honoria likes them to be known – reign supreme over the village hall. Or at least, they did, until the arrivals of a new contender for leading lady and a professional director throw their production of musical classic The Golden Empress into chaos. Cast, crew and committee are forced to explore friendship, theatre and community with hilarious results, but with most of the drama taking place off the stage, will The Golden Empress ever make it to opening night?
The seven strong cast will feature Tony- Award nominee TOM EDDEN, Olivier-Award nominee LAURA PITT-PULFORD, DEBBIE CHAZEN, WENDY FERGUSON, JORDAN LEE DAVIES, THEA COLLINGS & DENISE HODGKISS. The show is directed by JAMES ROBERT MOORE, musical direction by ALEX PARKER, choreography by JORDAN LEE DAVIES, sound design by PAUL SMITH & orchestrations by MARTIN HIGGINS.
The two performances run straight after a three-week workshop that is taking place aboard Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 in which passengers can watch the process over the trip and see the final presentation on the penultimate day of the voyage.
