Charli Eglinton presents a brand new, original musical odyssey, fusing opera and musical theatre with a mechanical, steampunk twist. Part of Tête à Tête: The Opera Festival 2019.

A brand new musical by Noisemaker – award-winning writing partnership of bookwriter/lyricist Scott Gilmour and composer Claire McKenzieLEGEND TRIPPERS uses joyous, energetic storytelling and song to examine the legends we are passing on today, and how we might benefit others by questioning them.

Living the Dream

Wed 28 Aug, 8pm

A first outing for this new musical based on a true story, this rehearsed reading of Living the Dream has been written by former journalist and TV presenter, John Warrington. Living the Dream has attracted a wonderful cast including Debbie Arnold, Brian Capron, Stephen Donald, Bill Fellows and Diane Keen. Definitely one to watch.

A modern dark comedy musical about how friendships and the wrong kind of romance can be toxic. It showcases how seeing is not always believing, how people can read into situations that are not always there and friendships and partnerships are tested to the max.

A satirical interrogation of corporate corruption and the fragility of our aspirations, conducted with quirky humour and real heart. Featuring a coterie of cracking tunes delivered by a superb cast, this is a musical that deals with universal issues such as love, loss and loneliness in a disarmingly down to earth manner.

Daryl Griffith’s Zombies: The Musical

An irreverent, comedic tale of two star-crossed would-be lovers, desperately searching for each other even in death. Containing catchy tunes and cheeky lyrics, the songs will infect your brain and plague your head long after the show is over.

Shortlisted as a finalist for the Stiles and Drewe Mentorship Award 2018, Terror at the Sweetshop is a funny and fast-paced family musical comedy featuring an upbeat, tuneful score inspired by gospel, soul and rock and roll.

Reputation: A New Musical

Tue 5 – Thu 14 Nov

Reputation, a major new retro musical by Alick Glass, is a compelling story of plagiarism and the female struggle for equality. It follows Michelle’s fight for recognition and the recovery of her stolen work, told through 25 original songs and romantic ballads written in the flamboyant style of the best-loved lyricists of the mid-1900s.
