40th Anniversary Starlight Express Zoetrope
Today marks the 40th anniversary of Starlight Express, which debuted at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre in 1984. To celebrate, Andrew Lloyd Webber is releasing a special collector’s 1LP Zoetrope featuring highlights from the original cast recording on 7th June.
This limited edition vinyl showcases the original cast of Starlight Express, including Stephanie Lawrence, Frances Ruffelle, Jess Shankley, Jeffrey Daniel, and Ray Shell, plus a special bonus track from the 1992 re-launch of the show in London.
Each side of the vinyl, masterfully designed by Zoetrope specialist Drew Tetz, animates with the rotation of the vinyl when exposed to the right light conditions or captured on your phone.
