Rehearsal photos have been released for this summer’s Hello, Dolly!

Excitement is building as behind-the-scenes rehearsal photos have just been released for Dominic Cooke‘s highly anticipated revival of Jerry Herman’s classic musical, Hello, Dolly! at The London Palladium. With Michael Harrison Entertainment producing and Imelda Staunton taking on the iconic role of Dolly Levi, this production is already generating significant buzz.

A Long-Awaited Reunion

After several delays, fans are thrilled to see Imelda Staunton (known for her brilliant portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in Netflix’s “The Crown”) reunite with director Dominic Cooke. This dynamic duo previously collaborated on the critically acclaimed production of Follies at the National Theatre. Their chemistry and shared vision promise to bring a fresh and captivating energy to Hello, Dolly!

A Stellar Cast

Joining Staunton is a remarkable cast of seasoned performers. Andy Nyman, celebrated for his roles in Ghost Stories and Fiddler on the Roof, will play Horace Vandergelder. Jenna Russell, known from Flowers for Mrs Harris and “EastEnders,” takes on the role of Irene Molloy. Harry Hepple, whose credits include Follies and Romantics Anonymous, will appear as Cornelius Hackl. Tyrone Huntley, praised for his performances in Jesus Christ Superstar, Dreamgirls, and The Book of Mormon, will play Barnaby Tucker. Rounding out the cast, Emily Lane, recently seen in Frozen at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, will star as Minnie Fay.
