Back to the Future The Musical: New Cast and Extended Run

Exciting news for fans of both musical theatre and classic films: Back to the Future The Musical has announced a new cast and an extended booking period through July 27, 2025, at the Adelphi Theatre. Lead producer Colin Ingram, alongside creators Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale, shared their enthusiasm for the new developments, promising an unforgettable experience for audiences old and new.

The musical, which premiered in London in September 2021, has garnered critical acclaim and numerous awards, including the Olivier Award for Best New Musical. Its popularity has only grown since its Broadway debut in August 2023 and the North American tour that started in June 2024. With plans to expand internationally, including a production in Japan in 2025, Back to the Future The Musical is taking the world by storm.

Joining the show is a fresh cast of talented actors, including Vasco Emauz, making his West End debut as the iconic Marty McFly. Orlando Gibbs will play George McFly, and C.J. Borger takes on the role of Goldie Wilson. Alex Runicles steps into the shoes of Biff Tannen, while Talia Palamathanan and Ellis Kirk will portray Jennifer Parker and alternate Marty McFly, respectively. They join current cast members, and fan favourites like Cory English as Doctor Emmett Brown and Sarah Goggin as Lorraine Baines.

The musical features new music by Grammy Award-winners Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard, alongside beloved classics from the film such as “The Power of Love” and “Johnny B. Goode.” The Original Cast Recording has been a hit, boasting over 20 million streams and now available in a Deluxe Edition with additional tracks and demos.
