£25 Tickets for The Tempest Starring Sigourney Weaver – Exclusively for Under 30s, Key Workers, and Those Receiving Government Benefits
The Jamie Lloyd Company has announced the release of £25 tickets for its upcoming production of The Tempest at Theatre Royal Drury Lane. These tickets are available exclusively to under 30s, key workers, and those receiving government benefits. They will go on sale on Thursday 14 November at 11am.
This production, directed by Jamie Lloyd, stars Sigourney Weaver. The Tempest opens officially on 19 December, following previews from 7 December 2024, and runs until 1 February 2025.
The Jamie Lloyd Company has allocated a total of 25,000 seats at £25 each across its Shakespeare season at Drury Lane, in an effort to broaden accessibility. These tickets cover the first three levels of the theatre.

Further announcements will be made regarding Much Ado About Nothing, the second production in the Shakespeare season, starring Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell. This production opens on 19 February, with previews starting 10 February, and runs until 5 April 2025. Full cast and creative details to follow.
Please note the following criteria when booking these tickets:
- Maximum 2 tickets per booking
- Both ticket holders must fit one of The Jamie Lloyd Company booking criteria
- IDs will be checked upon arrival at the theatre if you have purchased an accessible ticket.
Booking Criteria:
UNDER 30s
Both ticket holders must be 30 years of age or younger on the date of their chosen performance.
KEY WORKERS
This includes workers in the NHS, emergency services, social care sector, armed forces, and specialist education professionals including teachers and childcare workers.
THOSE RECEIVING GOVERNMENT BENEFITS
Anyone in receipt of Universal Credit. Please ensure you have brought your identification card (UK or country of residence), Blue Light Card (UK) or documentation confirming your Universal Credit status or teaching status for venue staff to check.
