Icons: Orchestral Series at The London Palladium

For the first time in its illustrious 114 year history, the historic London Palladium will host a monthly orchestral residency beginning in February 2024, which will see iconic artists’ music celebrated.

The first shows announced will celebrate: The Rolling Stones on 25 February, David Bowie on 18 March, Bee Gees on 24 April, and Phil Collins on 6 May.

Performed by The Leo Green Orchestra, the most explosive rock ‘n’ roll orchestra in the UK along with their incredible singers, the shows will be hosted by Cerys Matthews. Trevor Nelson will host the Bee Gees celebration on 24th April.

Experience songs like (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction, Space Oddity, How Deep Is Your Love, Against All Odds and more like never before as the repertoires of these celebrated musicians are brought to life in a brand new way, giving music fans the opportunity to enjoy timeless songs, in one of the world’s most iconic venues.

About The Leo Green Orchestra

The 25-piece Leo Green Orchestra is fronted by legendary saxophonist and broadcaster Leo Green, famed for his work with the likes of Van Morrison, Burt Bacharach, and Jerry Lee Lewis (who described Leo as the ‘greatest saxophonist’ he’d ever worked with).

Sounding unlike any other orchestra in the UK with their rock ’n’ roll energy, The Leo Green Orchestra is an explosively exciting ensemble of the UK’s very best musicians & singers.

Regular fixtures on BBC Radio 2’s Friday Night is Music Night, The Leo Green Orchestra has previously worked with the likes of: Elvis Costello, Tom Jones, Ronnie Wood, Van Morrison, Brian May, John Oates, (Hall & Oates), Beverley Knight, Tom Chaplin (Keane), Dionne Warwick, Jack Savoretti, Imelda May, Mika, Rick Astley, Jason Scheff (Chicago), Holly Johnson, Ben E. King and many more.

Vocalists for the event will include Nick Shirm, who as well as having worked this year with Diana Ross, Lionel Richie & Katy Perry, also recently wowed audiences with his performances as part of the hugely successful Northern Soul Proms earlier this year. Other vocalists include Vanessa Haynes (Chaka Khan, Dave Stewart, Billy Ocean, Ronnie Wood, Van Morrison), Hayley Sanderson (Rod Stewart, Sting Michael Buble, Nile Rodgers,), Andy Caine (Robbie Williams, Johnny Cash, Debbie Harry, Tina Turner, Tom Jones).
