Gin in the Spotlight - April 2019: St. George Terroir Gin

Posted 1st April 2019

St. George Terroir Gin

To celebrate St George’s Day this month, we’ve picked a unique and distinctive gin named after the patron Saint. But this one comes from across the water from our American cousins.

Produced on the slopes of Mount Tam in California this forest-driven and earthy gin has a real sense of place, using local botanicals such as Douglas Fir, California bay laurel and coastal sage.

NOSE: Out in nature, in a forest, surrounded by Douglas firs and woodsy herbal aromas.
PALATE: Fresh, with more fir, pine and bay laurel alongside the coastal sage.
FINISH: Evocative and very long citrus and lingering herbaceous notes.
WE SAY: A unique and evocative gin that’s a real stand out, packing a flavoursome punch!
